Counting Chamber

Counting Chamber

Cell counting is done with a device called a counting chamber. The best milled glass chambers available are counting chambers, which are optically honed and polished. The Counting Chamber satisfies the highest requirements because to its twofold upgraded Neubauer Ruling and diamond etching. There are 9 square millimetres of rulings. The centres of the groups of three are the boundary lines of the counting chamber ruling. The centre square millimetre is divided into 25 groups of 16 tiny squares, with triple lines dividing each group; the middle triple line serves as the border. The cover glass is 0.10 mm above the ruled surface, so that each of the 16 tiny squares has a volume of.00025 cubic mm.
